In the pantheon of songs that must be “dance to” this one is right up near the top.
And what better way to move forward from the recently completed stage of the Car T Cell protocol than to put on some dancing shoes. Also, is it not magic the way some music can create an unceasing energy that can provide us with a “get up and go” attitude.
Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017, ELO proved repeatedly that their sound could capture an audience. They had so many hits and not two of them sound the same.
It is difficult to single out just a few of their hits as all-time bests without leaving out some great songs.
Rock ‘n Roll is King was a tremendous commercial success and could be considered one of their signature songs. It reached top ten status in both the United States as well as the UK and Australia.
What I really like about the song is that it has a feel and tempo that captures the energy of rock and roll.
So, listen and then get up and dance. Even if you really cannot dance too well, (which is where I am at), so what. Dancing is a very personal activity that warrants no judgement from anyone.
